Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with TCG JAPAN PARTNER. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver your order. Please read it carefully before placing your order.

1. Order Processing

All orders are processed from our fulfilment centre in Gifu, Japan.

In-stock items: Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or Japanese public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Pre-order items: Pre-order products are shipped after the publisher's official release date. Please refer to the product page for the estimated release date. See Section 5 below for details on pre-order shipping.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

2. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to the following regions:

 - North America: United States, Canada
 - Europe: European Union member states, United Kingdom
 - Asia Pacific: Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand

If your country is not listed at checkout, we are unable to ship to your destination at this time. Please contact us at info@malbek.co.jp if you would like us to consider adding your country to our serviced regions.

We do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, freight forwarders, or package consolidation services. Orders placed to such addresses may be cancelled at our discretion.

3. Shipping Methods and Rates

All shipments are sent via tracked international carriers. Depending on the destination, we use the following services:

 - United States: SpeedPAK Economy (tracked, delivery duty paid)
 - Europe and United Kingdom: FedEx International Priority / International Economy
 - Asia Pacific: SpeedPAK / EMS / FedEx International

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and the destination country. Rates are shown in your local currency based on current exchange rates.

Approximate rate ranges (in USD, per order):

 - United Kingdom: from [PLACEHOLDER] USD
 - Asia Pacific: from [PLACEHOLDER] USD

Exact rates are displayed at checkout based on your order weight and destination. Actual shipping charges may be higher for orders containing multiple items.

4. Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimated and begin from the date of dispatch, not the date of order placement.

 - United States: 7–14 business days
 - European Union / United Kingdom: 5–10 business days (FedEx International Priority)
 - Canada: 7–14 business days
 - Singapore / Hong Kong / Taiwan: 3–7 business days
 - Australia / New Zealand: 7–14 business days

These are estimates provided by our carriers. Actual delivery times may vary depending on customs clearance, weather, carrier capacity, and other factors outside our control. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs, or events beyond our reasonable control.

5. Pre-Order Shipping

Pre-order products are shipped only after the publisher's official release date. Important notes for pre-orders:

 - Pre-orders are charged in full at the time of order.
 - Dispatch typically begins 3–5 business days after the publisher's release date, to allow time for us to receive and inspect the stock.
 - If you order a pre-order item and an in-stock item in the same order, the entire order will ship together when the pre-order item becomes available. If you require separate shipments, please contact us before placing the order; additional shipping fees will apply.
 - Release dates are set by the publisher and may change without notice. We will notify you by email of any material changes communicated to us by the publisher.
 - Delays caused by the publisher do not entitle you to cancellation or refund. Please refer to our Refund and Return Policy for details.

6. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

International buyers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, and any other fees imposed by the destination country, unless your checkout explicitly indicates that duties have been prepaid (DDP).

 - For the United States, we use Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) service, meaning any applicable duties are included in your shipping charge at checkout. You will not be charged additional fees upon delivery.
 - For European Union and United Kingdom, we collect applicable VAT at checkout where required by law. Customs duties (if any) and other import fees may still be charged by your local authority upon delivery and are the customer's responsibility.
 - For other destinations, customs duties and import taxes are the customer's responsibility and will be collected by the carrier or customs authority upon delivery.

We declare all shipments accurately based on the actual order value. We do not mark shipments as "gift" or undervalue declarations, regardless of customer request.

If a package is refused at customs, abandoned, or returned to us because the customer did not pay import duties, the original shipping fee is non-refundable, and any return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. See our Refund and Return Policy for details.

7. Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your shipment.

Please allow up to 48 hours after dispatch for tracking information to update with the carrier. If your tracking shows no movement for more than 7 business days after dispatch, please contact us at info@malbek.co.jp.

8. Delivery Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

If you notice an error immediately after placing your order, contact us at info@malbek.co.jp as soon as possible. We will attempt to correct the address before dispatch, but cannot guarantee that changes can be made. Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot modify the shipping address.

For international shipments, we require:

 - A complete, accurate address including postal code
 - A recipient name
 - A valid phone number (required by carriers for customs and delivery notifications)
 - An email address

Orders with incomplete address information may be delayed or cancelled.

9. Packaging

All products are packaged with care using rigid mailers, bubble wrap, or corrugated boxes as appropriate for the item. Pre-order TCG products are packaged to protect the factory seal and minimise risk of damage during transit.

Minor cosmetic imperfections on outer packaging that do not affect the factory seal of the product are considered normal for TCG items and are not grounds for a refund or replacement. See our Refund and Return Policy for details.

10. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us at info@malbek.co.jp within 7 days of the estimated delivery date (for lost packages) or within 7 days of delivery (for damaged packages). Include:

 - Your order number
 - Photos of the damaged item and outer packaging (for damage claims)
 - Carrier tracking information (for lost packages)

We will work with the carrier to investigate the issue and, at our discretion, offer a replacement, partial refund, or full refund. Please refer to our Refund and Return Policy for complete terms.

Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer. If your tracking shows delivery but you have not received the package, please contact your local carrier first before contacting us.
