Shipping & FAQ

Thank you for shopping with TCG Japan Partner. We ship authentic Japanese trading card products worldwide from our warehouses in Japan. Below is everything you need to know about our shipping and ordering process.


Shipping Methods

We select the carrier based on your destination to balance speed, tracking reliability, and cost.

North America & Europe — FedEx International Priority Fast, fully trackable, and reliable for high-value shipments.

Asia & Oceania — EMS (Japan Post) Cost-effective with solid tracking, typically delivered within a few business days.

Other carriers on request If you prefer DHL, Yun Express, SAL, or any other specific courier, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.


Processing Time

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Because some of our inventory is stored across multiple domestic warehouses, occasional orders may take slightly longer. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your package is handed over to the carrier.

Pre-order items ship within 3–5 business days after the official Japanese release date.


Delivery Time

Once shipped, estimated delivery times are:

  • FedEx International Priority: 3–5 business days
  • EMS: 3–7 business days (varies by destination)

Please note that customs clearance in your country may cause additional delays beyond our control.


Duties & Import Taxes

Import duty policy varies by destination:

United States — DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) For orders shipped to the United States, import duties and taxes are included in your order. No additional fees will be charged upon delivery.

All other countries — DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid) For all other destinations, orders are shipped DDU. The buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, VAT, or customs fees charged by the destination country. These fees are not included in the product price or shipping cost at checkout.

Import regulations and tax rates vary significantly by country. Please check your country's customs and import policies before placing an order, especially for high-value items such as booster boxes and graded cards. FedEx, EMS, or your local postal service may collect these fees on behalf of your country's customs authority at the time of delivery.

We cannot predict or estimate these charges in advance, as they depend on your country's regulations, the declared value, and product category.


Pre-Order Policy

Please read carefully before placing a pre-order. By placing a pre-order, you agree to the following terms:

  • Payment: Full payment is charged at the time of order.
  • No cancellations: Once a pre-order is placed, it cannot be canceled or refunded for any reason, including changes of mind, market price fluctuations, or long wait times. Please make sure you are fully committed before ordering.
  • Release delays: If the manufacturer delays the official release date, your order will automatically ship on the new release date. Delays do not qualify for cancellation or refund.
  • Shipping timing: Pre-order items ship within 3–5 business days after the official Japanese release date.
  • Mixed carts: If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the entire order will be shipped together once the pre-order product is released. If you would like in-stock items shipped separately, please place them as a separate order.

Tracking

All shipments include a tracking number, which will be sent to your registered email once your order is dispatched. You can track your package on the carrier's official website (FedEx.com, EMS / Japan Post tracking, etc.).


Lost or Damaged Packages

Both FedEx and EMS provide tracking and basic insurance coverage. In the rare event that your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the estimated delivery date, including photos if the package is damaged. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of trading card products, sealed items, pre-orders, and graded cards are not eligible for return once shipped. However, if you receive an incorrect item, a damaged package, or there is an error on our side, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.


Special Requests & Wholesale Inquiries

We welcome requests from collectors, resellers, and wholesale buyers. If you have any of the following needs, please reach out through our Contact page:

  • A specific courier preference (DHL, Yun Express, SAL, etc.)
  • Bulk or wholesale orders (cases, sealed boxes in quantity)
  • Custom invoicing or declaration requirements
  • Questions about product availability or grading (PSA / ARS)

We typically respond within 24 hours (Japan Standard Time, business days).
